The most interesting swap?

Group N STI transplanted into an 86 according to the article. I don't want to believe it, but the front tires definitely look like they spit dirt. How does it all fit?

That article has nothing (relevant to the car) in it.

I'm sure with enough money and a shop it would be possible. Would probably kill the reliability of the car though as well as the resale-ability. It would be trippy if they came out with a AWD version from the factory though.

Scroll down this link to the Synergy V8 powered Toyota 86. A very light, very compact V8 engine built in New Zealand.

They make a small factor 2.5l V8 or a 3l V8 that is only 5mm higher. Weighs only 92kg

And bolts straight in. They reckon not one hole needed to be drilled. Uses the factory ABS etc.

If people can fit an LS swap into this car, I want to see the E60 M5 V10 into this car.

Any more info, pics or videos of this swap and engine?

How can it be bolt on? Is there a kit for it or something? Does it use the same FA tranny? Nothing is truly "bolt in" unless it is the factory stock motor or some sort of swap kit. How much?

It is still a bit secret squirrel as they are looking to create an 86/FRS/BRZ option to market worldwide using this amazing motor.

Uses stock pretty much everything as far as I know although they had to change the drive shaft I think.

If you google synergy V8 Toyota 86 you may find out more. It is being done by the guys involved in our TR86 race series.
