Perfect!

Just installed the OEM crashbolts tonight. I figured I'd be asking folks how many turns of a tie rod end equals x amount of toe change. Instead, I'm happy to report that my Longacre toe plates are reporting as close to Zero toe up front as they can measure. (over two measurements, moving the car in between).

I guess I won't need to ask that question for a while.

PS: 245/40-17 Star specs are cool!

Can you post detailed pics of the fitment of the 245s? That seems big but maybe I missed you aren't on stock sized wheels?

Not stock wheels, 17x8 RPF1. I'm just in it to have fun.

I will be trying it soon, since I already have the tires.

Tom, we ran 245 A6s on my car at the divisional on the 7" wheel, the tire was certainly pinched, and the sidewalls were rounded out a bit. Initial turn in was a bit more vague and with being camber challenged (oe alignment) outer shoulder wear was noticable after 3 race days (2 with codriver on asphault, 1 on concrete). You can get away with it on an A6 based on the sidewall construction, but I wouldn't bother on a street tire. Probably best to go for a 225 on a 7 wide.

We did pretty well in the paddock-spot sweepstakes, Our group has a grouping of 6 paddock spots in row 5, about center mass of the mayhem.
