This right here. With the mount and hardware, it meets the 25# minimum weight.

Also regarding the battery, no restrictions on batteries have been implemented, although there has been talk about it. Still in the stock location even.

OK, good deal. I was just curious. The rules can sometimes be a little vague so hearing from someone that has been all the way to the top is very helpful. Thanks.

First off I appreciate you posting your setup, not everyone likes to share how they won. As for the setup based on your spring rates and roll bars I am a little surprised your car isn't super loose and undrivable, a 19 mm rear bar is pretty big you must have an interesting alignment and or much different ride height than most.

My mistake actually. Meant to say it was a 16mm rear bar. Original post is edited.

Thanks for the share . Mind sharing your alignment? Curious mostly about rear toe. Also ride heights if you know them.

I posted earlier in the thread but maybe I can update. I won the prosolo national championship this year and was winning after day 1 of solo nats before Mr Mudge here kicked my ass day 2 and took the win, I ended up 2nd at nats.

-2015 FR-S
-MCS 2 way remote with 6k/9k springs
-Karcepts sway bars front and rear. Large center section for the rear bar.
-Verus rear LCA STX legal version
-OS Giken LSD 1.5 way tuned by Shaftworks
-17x9 +35 RPF1 with 245 A052. Running a 3mm spacer in front
-Skunk2 intake with MAF insert removed
-JDL EL 4-2-1 header
-JDL overpipe
-JDL ultra quiet midpipe
-stock catback
-ECUtek tuned by xero limit
-Whiteline rear subframe bushings, rear diff bushings, and positive shift bushing
-Perrin motor mounts
-Master cylinder brace
-Ferodo DS2500 brake pads, stock calipers, castrol SRF fluid
-Forester oil cooler for track day bro time
-Camber 4.8F/2.6R
-Stock caster
-Toe 0F/0.33 degrees total rear toe in (that's slightly over 1/8" toe in, 0.14" or so)
-Ride height 12.95" F/ 13.2" R hub to fender metal

Still stock seats, stock exhaust, stock brakes. I just got a HKS spec-L delivered to my front door so that's going on for next year . I'll probably get the AP sprint kit over the winter.

What kind of shock settings are people liking? I only have single adjustables, but I seem to be faster when running the rear noticeably stiffer than the front.

Extremely loaded question, haha.

Totally depends on the rest of the setup but also on how the shocks are valved, what the adjusters do, etc etc.

As Ken said this question is a can of worms but to try to answer a complicated questions simply, for me on my off the shelf MCS I run about the same setting all around.

Of course the rebound is valved higher in the front so even though I'm equal all around in clicks, in actuality the front is stiffer. Compression I think is actually pretty equal all around though. Sometimes I play with going up one click of comp in the rear and it's nice, a bit less forgiving though.

One of those things where with a lot of runs I'm faster with the extra rear click, but with not many runs I end up making more mistakes. I tried up one click in the rear for nats day 2 and it was part of my struggles.

I plan to turn all the knobs, but what is a good starting point for settings?

Sure thing!

Ride heights from the floor to the center of the fender well.
Front: 24"
Rear: 25 5/8"

Alignment
Front Camber: -4.6*
Front Toe: 0.10* out
Rear Camber: -2.5*
Rear Toe: 0.10 Toe in (equates to about 1/16" total in)

Regarding my ride height, I'm pretty confident there is too much rake/the front is too low. Believe I'm giving up too much front compression upon lifting and braking, as I think I'm hitting the bumpstops and it just pushes or brakes like shit.

I'm on fresh 2WNR's, and I'm running Karwan's recommendation of +3 bump all around, +6 rebound front, and +7 to 9 rebound rear. Rear rebound changes things a lot. 7 is easy, 9 can be hard to hold onto.
