Because it was probably one of the worst examples of an FR-S I've ever seen. I know I'll sound like an anti-ricer snob or whatever, but I'm okay with that. This thing had overly plasti-dipped red stock wheels to the point where it was globby in some areas. Boxer emblems plastidipped so much that you couldn't even discern the '86' logo without staring at it. Random stickers all over the front bumper and the rear, especially that "I like my heels high and my cars low" bit plastered across the rear bumper. Tint that is far passed the legal limit for tinting, can't even imagine you could see out of the windows at night. Aftermarket exhaust with ridiculously huge tips with one side drooping significantly lower than the other. This car was a mess.
I'm all for originality and yes, his/her money not mine, but if you're going to do all that stuff to your car, at least do it properly. I dunno, I guess it's just the elitist side of me not wanting these cars to go down the route of riced out civics of the late 90s early 00s. Even my girlfriend (in the shot) who knows next to nothing about cars had a chuckle at how comical this car looked. |

Sadly that seems to be the case. I've seen a handful of riced out twins over the last year or so. However, most twins I spot are either bone stock or slightly/discretely modded.
By contrast, in the last 6 months, I've seen exactly 3 Civics that didn't look like a trainwreck. I hope the twins don't get to that point. |

Saw an Asphalt FR-S with shark fin (2015?) and smoked tail lights at Yes Plaza (Rowland Heights, CA) at 7:28pm on Tuesday July 22. You were gone when I returned to get my car at 10:10pm.

Right on. I actually got some footage of you two I just have to edit the video. Hopefully I can get it done this weekend. Next year I'll definitely be joining you on the track.

Did you have a Celica GT-S (red if I remember correctly) years ago? I saw the exact first and last name on the forum years ago and I was wondering if you are the same person. (newcelica.org).
