i just tried this. Hopefully this works as my sub rattles at a certain ton. i could see how this would work, and if it does, damn such a simple small fix for such a big annoyance hah

So we all know in the UK and certain Commonwealth countries that:

Boot=trunk
Bonnet=hood

So, ask our British friends what fanny means lol

Yep, NSFW. Means the same here in New Zealand as it does in the UK.

Makes us chuckle when in the USA we hear the term "fanny pack". LOL

Nope didn't work for me. My rattle is more more on the passenger side LHD. I'm gonna remove the liner as suggested in the linked post and see what's there. Might be the liner itself and I'll need to pad it

Check your rear speaker on the rattling side too. Just tap if with a knuckle and see if it makes a vibrating noise. I found a speaker rattle at one stage and was a simple fix.

I think it may be the whole shelf. Because now it's louder and I went back and pressed down on the liner and it stopped and I let go and it rattled to where I could see it shaking. Eventually gonna find some padding and fix I think.

Just bent mine, hopefully it works.

If not I'll follow this DIY using foam to lift the deck up:

EDIT:
Well, mine is still rattling but it's coming from the passenger side.
Looks like I'll be adding some foam blocks

I have a rattling from the passenger side of the car as well. Any luck with it?

I rather like the rattle. Plus the crickets. It reminds me that LOVE makes a Toyobaru.
