A pillar trim popping off

I'm not sure if this is the right section for this...

It's summer and it's very hot here in VA, and the heat is causing my A pillar trim to keep popping off, both of them

I tried pushing it back and reinserting it and whatever but it still pops off whenever it's super hot outside

does this happen to anyone else? it's really annoying.. It started to happen after i took it off to install my dashcam to put the wires under the trim

I've checked and pretty sure the wire isn't touching the trim or anything, anyone got a solution for this?

thanks

edit

ok it's fixed, like Laika mentioned there was this 2ndary clip at the bottom 1/4 of the trim that i didn't put

Double check all the fasteners. And then triple check them. Mine did the same thing for quite a while till I found an undone rivet clip.

And if all else fails, you could go try and bother the dealership. Maybe get them to replace it if it's still within 2 years.

So when I went to go get my windows tinted the guy doing the tint let me know mine was popped off as well.

Took it to the dealership when I got my first free oil change and they fixed the clip there no charge. Think it was just a shity clip.

If it happens while it's out of warranty, use a heat gun to soften the plastic a little (without burning yourself or damaging anything), spread the tabs a little wider for a better grip then drop it in some cold water. Reinstall and problem solved.

My passenger side A-pillar kept popping off. Had to have the dealership replace a clip, and it has never done it again. replaced under warranty.

i actually realized that there was a 2ndary little circular notch that is suppose to go into the trim like laika said and i think it solved the problem? i'd have to see during the day when it's all hot again and see if it pops open

i had to like position it and then like push the bottom 1/4 of the trim and then slide it down to make sure that the circular notch was placed in correctly

but yea i'd have to double check tomorrow

Beat me to it. Besides the standard pop in clips that you just push in there is a "screw head" knob near the middle that needs to be "hooked" on to the head of the knob prior to poping in the clips. I don't know what they are called so tried to use my describie words. I had the same issue till I found the middle latch thing. hasn't poped off since
