Ah! Well I think i'm going to pull the trigger on the stage 2. Apparently the revised version doesn't have the issues the other one had. So I'm going to give it the ol' college try... haha Otherwise, I would get the Stage 1.

Yea I'm split between the Exedy stage 2 and the South Bend Stage 2. Leaning towards South Bend for drive-ability and higher torque rating.

Well I went ahead and bought the south bend stage 2 daily. I couldn't get passed all of the complaints on both the ACT and exedy. And south bend seemed to have the fewest issues.

I haven't had it put in. It comes in today, and I'll be taking it to the shop tomorrow morning. But I'm pretty excited. Apparently the clutch face is an Exedy piece according to their pictures.

Another thing I just noticed after inspecting my SB clutch is even the pressure plate is an Exedy piece! haha The irony to the kit, eh?

Just got mine. Its weird but it looks like a rebranded Exedy kit. But it's not their stage 2. Any luck with yours so far?

Yeah it's exedy parts so idk. And mine is installed. I've put about 50 miles on it and it's smooth. No problems so far.

Got mine installed. Feels so much better than either my ACT or Exedy. I'm surprised how much of a difference there is compared to my previous clutch. I need to get in a car with an Exedy Stage 2 to compare.

The pedal resistance is insane at how light it is for the torque it holds! I love it. I have noticed some stiffness getting into 2nd when downshifting but I blame using stock tranny fluid. I've got about 200 miles on it now, but it drives perfectly fine. I am curious how the Exedy Stage 2 would be as I almost bought that one. Did you also notice the pressure plate and clutch disk were both exedy? haha

What flywheel are you running with the Exedy Stage 2 ?Did install a new OEM Flywheel or the OEM flywheel resurfaced, or did you leave the stock flywheel on untouched?

Anyone else running this updated, 3 puck clutch? Looking at getting this but was curious if there were any issues still as there doesn't seem to be much feedback, thanks!

I've had the stage two, 3 puck for two years now. Put about 10k miles on it. Only drive it in the summer / and do about 3 full track weekends a year.

Looking not too bad, but I will replace it. Likely with the same one.

At first, street drive ability was kind of crap, it was real inconsistent as far as when it would grab, but after a few months that lessened some.

Here are the pics as I just pulled the engine tonight.

thanks for the feedback

would it say daily driving was better once it was broken in? no lock out issues as mentioned in the previous posts?
