Not today, but a few ago. I put a 10" Kicker Comp 2omh in a ported box hooked to one 500W channel of a Boss 1000 watt.

With the stock head unit there is little to no control and with the level and bass boost all the way down it's still . . . Well, perfect for me. It bangs real hard. I'd like to max it out, but I couldn't hear the treble if I did.

Looks like I need more upgrades.

One of the tricks we used to use, when the sub boxes got too "boomy," was to fill the box with polyfill. It helped keep the bass tone deep without overpowering the rest of the signal, especially in cars with small cabins like ours.

How much whiskey can you haul in your 86?
Never enough is the correct answer lol. I only ever have to carry a dozen bottles at a time at the most for small tastings so I'm good

Exedy stage 1 clutch/lwfw, revised TOB, and Verus forged clutch fork/pivot. Love it so far!

Got it back from body shop with about 80% of the car repainted after dumb girl smacked me from behind.
Then put new Firehawk Indy 500s on replacing the same that were on there before.

I was considering some polyfill, but I think my real issue is a 300 watt max sub running on a 500w channel. I think a smaller amp is in order.

Also a smaller box as I now can just barely bring groceries home. I'd like a custom one that tucks into the passenger rear corner without protruding. Like the MTX thunderform that's discontinued. But I'm not ready to spend money on that yet.

I'd love to do that. But the 5,000 mile commute makes it impractical.

Well, you're only a little over 500 miles from Dahlonega Ga. and all the great roads in that neck of the woods! (But you've probably already done them, eh?)
