That is an actually O2 bung it seems. You can get one and have it installed behind the 2nd cat and then place the 2nd O2 sensor in that bung and plug the 2nd bung that`s on the header.

Or do this.

Moves the secondary O2 out of the exhaust stream, hopefully it reads a little more lean, and the ECU thinks there is a working catalytic converter

Might want to check out what you could be potentially missing out on.

Cheers!

I relocated the 2nd sensor and it worked great. I even had a high flow cat and only once in awhile, if I did something weird with the throttle, the check engine light wouyld come on. I would either plug in the OBD2 reader and erase it, or a few days later it would clear it self.

Slick is right here.. we've sold MANY of the new revised Borla UEL headers in our GB and I've seen people with NO issues on a stock tune (no CEL).

But as a safeguard, I'd go with an eBay O2 Sensor Spacer/Eliminator.. few bucks and does the trick. A tune would benefit you both ways.. by removing the CEL and I've seen a STOCK FR-S with a header and tune get about 192rwhp!

Speaking from experience and from a bunch of reviews from people who ordered the Borla header from us, it is truly a great header!

Best to save up for all of the exhaust parts and do it in one shot, working out a package discount with the tuner when possible. You'd be surprised how people will barter if you're possibly throwing down up around 2-3k on a full exhaust/intake/tune vs just a header or catback with no tune.

Do you have a link to these reviews? At this point these people already bought the borla so there pretty much screwed, but could you start pushing another type of UEL you sell? Or do you only sell the borla?

The borla collector is complete garbage, and I should know, I own one, the collector also has surface rust at 2k miles, and the welds are rusting as well, unless you use a defouler you will always get a cel with a non-catted header. Some company's crest the defouler as part of their header, but come on if borla didn't even take the time to make a proper collector u think they made a built in defouler... Lol, honestly if you haven't taken the plunge yet I would buy a JDL, or a revworks UEL, or wait for nameless to make their UEL and if you can buy it from @AJ@ECSMotorsports, but for all that is good and holy, do not buy a BORLA, learn from my mistake.

The new Borla headers have been revised, not a single complaint from the nearly 10 we sold this month alone to forum members, plus a few from our website..

Borla GB Sale Thread w/review, sound clips..
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35210

Also, we do offer performance gaskets from GrimmSpeed until tomorrow for $35/set and we have sold a few packages to members.. one bought intake+header+ECUTek+Diffuser+catback and we gave him a killer deal you cannot find anywhere else, on top of our low price guarantee!

A tune works magic with the header+intake+exhaust, and sounds insanely loud on a 2.0 Boxer motor!!

Hope this helps guys!

AJ
