As a kid I spent hundreds of hours flying flight simulators on the home PC. So ive learned to fly planes the natural way.

Time to go fly a commercial jet and see how it goes.

Aside from the landings.. it's not really a big difference.

If someone is immunized and asymptomatic, why would they be tested for covid?

So your great "ah ha!" moment is that maybe somebody who gets a life-threatening and often debilitating disease might only need one booster, while somebody who doesn't get the life threatening and often debilitating disease might need a third shot at some point maybe? Even though it doesn't talk about the need for a booster in the article?

Your great "gotcha" here is that maybe one shot is enough for people who already got sick?

Well you didn't read it all then but yeah if you're at risk and haven't had it maybe the vaccine makes sense but it doesn't make sense for everyone.

Pilot is in denial that he is in any way at risk because he's in good physical shape.

I used to run 8.5 miles almost daily (a long time ago), am very rarely sick, but as a rational person, there is no way I'd consider that any type of invulnerability.

And I like to think of myself as one who is willing to do what's best for his fellow human.

Some people are fixated that they will suffer debilitating effects from being vaccinated. In truth, there is no real downside aside from potentially minor side effects.

Once again, delusional. Time to rationalize.

How you are allowed to fly in a pressurized contagion tube unvaccinated is beyond me.

It's just weird because the article is filled the maybes except for when it comes to going and getting vaccinated. Selective reading, I suppose.

I don't know what you mean by "all the data is in". There is sufficient data to say that those who have not gotten sick yet should run, not walk, to get vaccinated. There is uncertain data to say that those who have gotten sick should definitely get a single dose, but the data shows that the second dose will be safe, so why not? Anecdotally, there are a bunch of dead Brazilians who caught the disease twice.

The article says nothing even close to that "natural immunity is going to win out". The doctors specifically say to give the vaccines to the unvaccinated and that those who got sick should probably take one shot.
I don't have a quarrel with the idea that those who have contracted and recovered from covid MAY not need to follow the same vaccination protocol as those who have not been infected. The issue is immunity. If someone can demonstrate immunity they MIGHT be exempted from any vaccine requirement or have the protocol adjusted in some way. However, THAT decision should be up to the entity imposing the vaccine requirement.

My biggest issues with these guys are 1) they appear not to read the articles they link, and if they do they are 2) skimming and cherry picking and 3) doing so extremely poorly. They are unencumbered by the basic tenets of logic.

Time after time they will post a link, puff up and strut, tossing out blanket statements that the piece they link in no way supports. When called on it - more puffery with a side of bluster. Classic "internet argumentation" rubbish.

It's just making shit up. The fact that you can find an article that uses some words does not allow you to add to and reassemble those words into some random form and draw whatever conclusion you want from your creation. Well, actually, I guess it doesn't stop you from doing that, it just makes you a liar when you do.
