Brembo GT 6 Piston Yellow Caliper with 355mm Type 3 rotor kit Part# 1M3.8047A5
I am selling my Brembo GT 6 Piston Yellow Caliper with 355mm Type 3 rotor kit (The Gran Turismo Kit)
This is a kit with Part# 1M3.8047A5, which, at the time, I bought was the kit-specific part# for the first-generation BRZ. Brembo now has a new Part# 1M3.8069A5, which works for both the first and second-generation BRZ, so logically, my kit with Part# 1M3.8047A5 should also work for the second-generation BRZ (but since I have never seen the kit with newer part#, I cannot guarantee that my kit will fit second-generation BRZ). I used this kit for my Honda Fit, (yes, not a typo, it's Honda Fit) for the past few years, using a custom rotor hat and custom caliper bracket so please note the following: a. The original rotor hat for BRZ is still brand new and has never been used. b. The original caliper bracket for BRZ is still brand new and has never been used. c. You will need to purchase 2 sets of Brembo Part# 915503 Disc Hardware Pack (because you need 1 set per disc) to remount the 355mm Type 3 rotor to the brand new BRZ rotor HAT. Here is the link to purchase this hardware pack: https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-302241-tms302241/ . It 's not expensive, only $90 per kit. This is a 1 time use hardware, so for safety, I will NOT include the used hardware pack. It's basically some bolts, nuts, and floating mechanism hardware. d. The original Goodridge braided lines that came with the kit are not included (any good front braided line kit should work) e. The 4 bolts holding the bracket to the car knuckle are also not included (just buy some grade 12.9 metric bolts to replace them) f. The disk brake rotor might need to be resurfaced around the outer edges. Due to the size limitation on my Honda Fit, I had to mount the caliper about 1mm lower than it should so the brake pads did not wear out a 1mm area of the disk brake's outer edges. A machined shop can do this easily. You can see the outer edge pointed out by my finger in the picture (link) right below: https://photos.app.goo.gl/vmY33LEYSPbD5DQKA I am selling this kit, including all the original double boxes from Brembo and the user manual, for just $2,060, including shipping to anywhere inside the USA via PayPal. Please review all the pictures below. What you see is what you get. I do not accept returns, so please make sure to review the pictures before you buy. My price is firm, Please send me a PM (Private Messages if you are interested). Somehow, I cannot directly link an image here so I am forced to used webpage links that you can click to view the pictures. The first picture in the first link below show a picture with my username, date, and FT86club.com written on a piece of white paper beside the outer box of the Brembo: https://photos.app.goo.gl/QGVZzTm9vbgAZCwJ7 You can also see 24 pictures that I listed on my eBay listing.
