So the BRZ is loaded with fuel etc for a track day tomorrow. Possibly the last day this track will be open. Due to a court decision against noise (tyre noise also) one local person has pushed through in a country area. Long story short the tracks DA was for 4 days a month originally with V8 Supercars 1993. It was sold and operated and the DA terms were forgotten, also by the local council, until this Land and environments court case decision. So it was put back to 4 days a month,Impossible for a business to maintain operation nowadays. $20million ++PA for the town(Goulburn Wakefield Park Raceway) lost now and the H`Way has gone previously. Towns future is Fucked.
Where do you get your Kicks from

I was thinking about going to that track day but I didn't like the forecast temperatures. I was looking at 3rd October but Track School has ceased bookings.
Some context for others who don't know the track.

Nope. No cable, no dish. I have a digital antenna that gets me all the major networks and local channels, and a half dozen fun channels like Metv, laff, Grit, etc., all for free. Saves a lot, so I don't mind spending $20-$30/ month to stream stuff. |

Well, the new ones don't look that much different. I have direct line of sight with the antennas in the valley, so I get great HD reception.

They don't have to look different at all. I have an old-school TV antenna in my attic that picks up Digital TV just fine. In fact, that's why I installed it in 2000 when you could only get HDTV over the air.
The nice thing about digital is there is no "marginal picture" you either get the signal or you don't.

All the earlier talk of jet skis. My buddy picked up one from his neighbor. The guy bought it new in 98’, put around 30 hours on it and parked it cause he got too busy with work. He wanted $50 for it, he gave him a hundred. Damn thing is mint, was properly winterized before storage. Fuel tank doesn’t even smell like gas, filters are still clear. Pretty sure a carb clean and a new battery and it will fire up. It’s in my shop now of course.
