oh man.... that sucks...
For my car, Second day of owning my brand new FRS, this lady backed out while i was stopped at the municipal parking lot and she didnt even look back to see if anyone was behind her car. The shop is trying to pull the panel out but if they can't, they're gna have to cut off 70% of the left quarter panel out of the frame and weld the new piece onto the car which sucks... it doesnt look too bad in the picture but it's pretty bad if you look it in person. The lady's insurance company wrote me a check of 3400 and my shop said about 5~6k. replacing the door panel and quarter panel.

Um why did they only write you a check for 3400? They should have to pay the entire amount shouldnt they?

They obviously didn't give me a proper quote price. But my shop will bill the extra 2~3k to the lady's insurance company after the work is done since is directly connected to the insurance company. They said I didn't have to worry about the extra cost because it's gonna go though her insurance 100%

Probably hoping you'll pocket the money and try to get it fixed on the cheap. Make damn sure you get a corrosion warranty on the repair.
