2017+ BRZ Foglight yellow LED assemblies

Lately I've been thinking about seeing if the fogs can be converted to yellow LED's.

After searching the forum a bit, I came across this thread and others that confirm 2017+ BRZ's have basically permanent fog light LED's as assemblies:

It seems they aren't meant to be swappable anymore.

I really don't love the idea of using tint film.

So, I'm curious. Does anyone know if any aftermarket companies have come up with replacement assemblies with yellow LED's?

If prohibitively expensive, then I wouldn't do it. But I'm definitely wondering if any companies have bothered touching this.

I guess the final, most expensive option is probably buying replacement assemblies myself and paying someone who's an electrician to crack them open and do the necessary de-soldering/re-soldering to switch the LED's. Definitely not ideal.

I can live with it if there's no option like this, but just a bit disappointed that earlier MY's were swappable and the kouki's are not.

No they haven’t made anything like it. I was in the same boat and settled for yellow Lamin-X film.

Can't just desolder/resolder new led's in and get much of the same beam pattern. Would take a re-engineering of the circuit board to do correctly. Likely $600ish minimum depending on a number of factors.

Laminex film is really the fastest/cheapest option
