Seat fit for tall people?

I am really looking into to getting an FR-S or BRZ. Problem is none of the dealers around me can even get one in for more than a day, so I haven't been able to sit in one.

I am a tall guy: 6'6". I am more skinny than large. My inseam is 36".

I saw a couple of the members here may be my height. I'm actually used to driving smaller cars. I can fit very well in a Nissan S13. S13 interior dimensions are about 0.75 - 1 inch taller in headroom than a FR-S.

I want to hear about the seating position and feel from you tall guys here on how the driving and clutch feel for your legs.

Also, tell me if your viewing angle through the windshield is at a neutral or upper level of it (as in, do you notice the headliner in your driving sight?)

Any comments would be most appreciated!

From a short guy's perspective - I fit in this car great, but even at 5'4" there's barely any gap between the back of the front seat and the beginning of the rear seat. I would definitely recommend sitting in one to make sure you'll fit before getting serious about a purchase. Where are you located? I've driven two in central Florida and I've found a bunch of them on dealer lots all over the state.

Judging from his perfect grammar, he's not from america. With that aside i'd guess minnesota.

one of the first 86 winners was 6'7" 300ish as i recall and was flown down specially for a fitting, and he was fine in the car. It really depends at that height, you are very close to the maximum height and it would depend if your height is in your legs or your torso.

I'm just under 6' and i have a good 5 inches of headroom in the car, but I have a long torso. My legs are fine in any driving position, but you might have issues with the steering wheel at it's lowest angle.

I'm 6'3" and was worried I'd be too tall for the car. I have plenty of room and the seats are great! Cars a little low so the challenge is getting in and out.

I am 6'1" with a 33" inseam and I still have some room to move the seat back a few more clicks, maybe 2-3 inches. I also have plenty of head clearance with the seat at it's lowest adjustment.
I seem to recall reading a review where the driver/writer was 6'5" and said he had plenty of room in the car.
The only trouble I have is getting my legs in and out of the car, if someone parks next to me and I can't swing the door all the way open, I find myself picking up my legs to get them over the 'hump.'
I hope this helps!

6'4" and long in the legs. I fit fine int the FR-S but knees rub the steering wheel slightly in the BRZ due to slightly more cushioning in the seats for the Subie. Go FRS for max room although it's not much it's just enough between the two.

Not quite as tall as the others, but I'm 6'2''. Getting into the car is the only difficult part. At my test drive, I did this weird maneuver by putting my knee into the seat first and twisting into it. Cursed back problems

Though once I was in the car, adjust the wheel as high as it could go and pumping the seat down two pumps was enough. I had another guy about my height go into the seat behind me and I was still pretty comfortable after moving the seat forward to better accommodate my fried.

My friend, who is about 6' 2" also fits fine inside. However, the seat is pushed pretty far back. Technically, the FR-S can seat 4 people, but looking at the seating arrangement with my friend in front, there is absolutely no leg room for the people who sit in the back seat.

I'm 6'2" and have no problems. With the seat height adjusted to the bottom, I can wear a helmet and still have at least a couple of inches between it and the headliner. Leg room is also no problem. This car has more front seat leg room than the '06 Accord that I traded in on it.

Well I'm tall for a woman at 5'-8" I'm no where near you guys at 6'+ range, however that being said I came from Dodge Magnum which is a full size wagon if you don't know what the car is, shockingly I actually have more room between my head and the roof in the BRZ than I did in the Magnum. It seems like the only size that would be an issue in the BRZ/FR-S is being heavy since even being thinish the seat fits me like a glove, my best friend is heavy and she doesn't really fit in the seats well at all.

6 ft 3.5 in here and I fit fine. The rear view mirror is kinda in my line of sight, but not so much that it bothers me.
