I can't wait for usb type c/thunderbolt 3 to become the standard for all ports on computers, phones, peripherals, etc.

VGA still exists for server purposes so I can't see Type C taking over everything everything until well into the future because all of these legacy ports have valid use cases with peripherals being one where I can see manufacturers hanging on to Type A for a while.
Also lack of tb3 on Ryzen sucks especially if raven ridge laptops are supposed to come out soon.
Thunderbolt 3 doesn't seem particularly useful on desktop towers unless you are running an external storage array.
Coming back to the point, I can't wait as well until type c takes over but I have yet to have something that is type c. (still hunting for a switch)

Pretty much everything I have except my work phone is type C. It's nice.

Insurance renewal time, went from 174/month to 149/month.

Progressive must really want me to stay because other places are quoting 200+. One even offered 350 as a "good deal"

I know it sounds to good to be true but that was how the whole thing went down. Was sort of surreal actually. I hadn't even seen it yet and the words "we should buy it" were out of her mouth. I think she sees it more as buying an accessory that matches a dress. Sort of like that perfect purse that goes with the outfit. It is damn near the same colour as her car after all. If it had been any other colour or not Subaru she would not even have noticed it.
She has always helped pick out the BBQ when we needed a new ne. I think the tradition started so that she could stop me from spending too much money but it has now evolved into making sure we get one that will feed 400 people even though we don't. As it was we didn't get the BBQ there and had to go to Canadian Tire to find one.

Yes. Professional Engineers Ontario is the licencing body. It sounds like a lot of them but that is only two per plant.

Sam's has these as well and I do need one...

Last summer while on vacation MomHawk was doing her day of outlet shopping and I noticed there was a tool outlet (about the only single store in an outlet mall of any interest to me) where I found this below which Costco also apparently sold at one point. I do need a new mower so I almost bought it but the online reviews were so bad from the Costco sale I decided against it. Talked to the cashier, who also happened to be the store manager and he said that his company (franchise) had bought them from Costco because they couldn't give them away.

I was very disappointed. Heck it even has a push-button start!

One of the laptop models we buy still have them. It is really time for it to die.

We finally just upgraded all our class/conference rooms last year to eliminate VGA as the primary source although its still available through an adapter. Now of course the problem is the manufacturers can't settle on DisplayPort vs HDMI.
