Just installed this aluminium heel pad. Cheapest accessory I have at US$30 from here http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-...776548029.html

Looks good on my monster mat. I have one for the passenger side but not sure if I'll put it in.

Installed TRD carbon fiber panel set today. Birthday present from my wife and kids. love it.

And, also installed centre console plaque from @86_ZN6. Had it engraved with my limited edition number.

Note the 86 piston logo on the wallpaper of my android head unit along with the spinning 86 and toyota logo on startup. Thanks @GreenPants for the boot animation and TRD logo it shows first up when booting.

Im curious to know how the trd suspension is going? Have you tried playing with it or kept it as factory setting?

Depends what you mean by playing.

As we have a certification system here for modifications it is certified for the drop I wanted being the TRD recommended 15mm.

I have been playing with the firmness of the coilovers. There's approx 40 clicks and currently have it on ten clicks from "soft" for the road and am experimenting on the track.

Had it set 10 clicks from full firm at last track day and I think that combined with not letting any air out of the tyres and them getting firmer as they warmed "helped" me to a 720 in a cloud of tyre smoke.

Got track days coming on 8 Sept, 14 Sept and 27 Oct so will be playing some more then.

Thanks, you pretty much answered what i meant by playing with them. As for daily driving do you normally set them to be softer or do you feel the setting of 10 clicks from full firm to be comfortable for both track and daily?

As mentioned I have it ten clicks from soft for daily driving. I think ten clicks from firm would be too firm.

I notice the firmness most in the joins on our freeway flyovers. I think that's what you call them - trying to use USA terms. Like a train clickety-click on the tracks except it is clunk-clunk as I drive over them, especially with the 18" wheels with lower profile tyres (tires!).

Edit: Ah, just realised you're in lovely Sydney so we almost speak the same language!

@Firefly went over for your 86 festival in Sydney and could have packed some coilovers in his suitcase for you. He offered to be a TRD "mule" for your Queensland club as one of their organisers, Michelle, is a kiwi.

North Shore Toyota here in NZ can supply at a good price and freight to Oz for you.

Beautiful! From the rear perspective, the glint off the exhaust really adds to the car's overall presence.

Gotta admit... I liked the decals.
