2012 Portland Area Photo Tag Game

OK, I got this idea from a motorcycle website that I frequent and it's pretty fun. The idea is that I take a photo of my car somewhere in the Portland area and post it here, and then you guys have to figure out where it is and take a photo of your car there, then you get to post a new photo.

THE RULES:
  • To start, post a photo and a clue; your BRZ/FR-S must be in it.
  • Individually (or as a group), other participants drive to the same place and get a photo with THEIR car(s) at the same spot.
  • The first person to "tag" the photo by posting it in this thread then posts the next photo tag for people to find. He/she is "it". There can only be one "it" at a time. Name the tagged location for others.
  • The boundaries will be the Columbia River to the North, the Cascades to the East, Salem to the South, and the Pacific to the West, or click HERE for the approximate visual.
  • If no one is able to identify the tag, the poster can give progressively easier clues until someone finally finds it. The idea isn't to stump people, but to get people down interesting roads, so folks should be able to figure it out somehow. If nobody can figure it out in a week then poster needs to tell folks where the site is, and the first person to post the photo can do the next tag.

HINT #1: Offshoot off of a road named for a Japanese supercar.

This is sad, cause I know exactly where this is and don't have my car yet

That one lane blind corner is always terrifying.

Hehe... well, maybe no one else will find this location until you get your car!

HINT #1: Offshoot off of a road named for a Japanese supercar.
HINT #2: Located north of America's largest urban forest reserve.

Nah, I'll just let the game sit until someone eventually heads out there. Sooner or later someone will hit it.

If you don't have your car yet then you can head out there with a PHOTO of an FR-S or BRZ and pretend that you have your car already.

That looks so familiar but I can not place it. Also not in my FRS yet. >< Seems like a fun game!

We have a temporary rule where you can just take a photo of a BRZ or FR-S with you and include it in the photo of the landmark.
