Nice, but according to the JPM website it comes with their logo embroidered on it standard? Since that is not at all desirable, did you request this piece as special order or something?

How was the install? Also, does this interfere with the function of the passenger airbag on the dash? Since it's one piece I'd be concerned that the airbag wouldn't deploy properly.
I've seen this question in the JPM thread, and the passenger airbag deploys from the top of the dash, so no, this will not interfere.

For all those who asked, here's some additional pictures of the panels:

Yes mine has the option to not have their logo on it. The reason I asked for that is because I put my badge of ownership in that place.

^Whoa! Did not realise that it was a one-piece. That's trippin me out.

Is it a cover you snap over the existing pieces or did they fuse the two together so it's one solid panel?

Damn, that alcantara dash piece is SEXY! I covered mine in black vinyl, but this looks much better.

They took two and fused them together

Went on a nice evening cruise: a very relaxed drive except at one point where I (intentionally) pitched the car into a ~120 degree, dusty/gravelly corner with a dip in it and got very sideways. It was a pretty safe place to do it, as the corner is sharp and slow, you can see around it and there's a lot of open shoulder to run out onto if you screw up. I determined that the computers really don't appreciate this even in sport mode: it was a very abortive skid as the computer dumped throttle and left me sitting there almost stopped instead of scooting forward whilst sideways. I'm sure I looked like a complete retard. Luckily there was only one person there to witness it. Next time I'll have to stop before the corner and turn things all the way off

The rest of the drive I just cruised, admired the pretty scenery, and appreciated the cooler temperatures up in the foothills. Denver is beginning to get genuinely unpleasant, with temps up in the mid 80's during the day. It's really nice to escape into the mountains where it's ~10 degrees cooler and very pretty.

Sounds like a great time and a great photo as well! I'm insanely jealous of the views and roads that you have out there, I need to get back out to Colorado soon!

Thanks man; if you come out for a drive-y visit before July let me know and we can go explore some fun roads.
