Just Moved to Irvine
Hello all
Just moved to Irvine last saturday from the Bay Area. Up North I had my house, which I sold, and now am living in a condo. Since I no longer have my house I don't have a place to change my oil, HOA rules prohibit working on your car. For you guys that do not have access to a garage where do you go for your oil change? Evasive Motorsports? CSG? I have a fumoto valve on my car and want to make sure that whomever changes my oil doesn't take it off. I've never had anyone change the oil on any car I've owned so this will be a new experience for me. Thanks! |

Welcome to SoCal! I'm sure you can always make friends and ask them if you can use their driveway / garages. Otherwise I would recommend Evasive.

Thanks for the info guys. I will check out Corner3garage and the Irvine meet next week.
Irvine has so many BRZ and Fr-s, I never saw so many up north. |

Did you move into a property that Irvine company manages? I'm currently looking for a place to move, too, and have been looking into some rental properties that way as well. I didn't know that HOA prohibited working cars... maybe I need to start looking else where.

I don't know many HOAs that allow people to work on their cars. All my friends up north that had an HOA, and even when I was living in an apartment up there, were prohibited from working on their cars per the HOA rules unless it was an emergency. I would love to find a place that allows one to work on their car but I'm hoping to buy another place next year so I don't have to deal with HOA. Best of luck. |
