90975-A2003 badges won't fit?

Ok, I am posting this hoping someone can point out something obvious I'm missing.

I ordered a Toyota replacement badge set for my FR-S from an Ebay dealer. The rear fit fine but the front was off by about a millimeter ... even though the part number was correct.

I then ordered a front one from Amazon (again, a 90975-A2003) and it has the same issues. See below, both lying out with the original Scion badge. The bottom pic was me test fitting it with one peg inserted revealing a bolt hole exposed.

What am I missing here?

Thanks!!

Strange thing is, the rear fit fine and these would be WAY too big for that one. Two front ones bought from two separate vendors with identical part numbers don't.

Let me make sure I'm stating this properly:

I received 2 badges in my initial order. One for front, one for back. Both in clearly marked Toyota bags. One was part number 90975A2003 for the front and the other was part number 90975-02069 for the rear. The rear was about 10 mm and fit fine. The front (measuring at 12 mm) was too big for the space/holes (supposed to be 11mm).

Thinking it was a mistake, I went ahead and bought the exact part number (90975A2003) again from another vendor. That arrived, and was exactly the same as the other (12mm). Unless the thread here is wrong, that should fit. Check the pic.. the tape measure and original bags don't lie. I just don't get it.

Thanks for responding, and again... Im open to any thoughts on it.
