FEELER : track FRS gutted full cage

Hi guys,

I wanted to feel the market for my track prep FRS.

- 2013 black FRS - 13k miles
- rebuild title
- full cage with daytona bars - full interior repaint
- interior completely gutted, only dashboard is back in the car.
- engine and suspensions stock
- modifications:
-- 17x9 rims with BFG R1 245-40x17
-- Carbotech XP12 brake pads front / rear
-- mishimoto oil cooler
-- mishimoto radiator
-- APR brake ducts with carbon fiber bump inserts.
-- one momo daytona seat with 6 point harness

The car runs great, again no modification = no problems

I have an opportunity to buy another track car before I decide to go deeper into building this one.

The car was never raced, only ONE track day event since the build.

How much do you think it is worth.

Salvage or Rebuilt usually are from $7000-9000, I think this one is worth in the ball park of $10,000- 13,000. Hard to price these cars since in some peoples minds modifying the car deprecates its value to some people. GLWS.

I spent $10k on the car once it was rebuild and added $9,000 in parts. You do the math you get a car build without paying any labor cost.

- modifications:
-- $ 800 - 17x9 rims
-- $1100 - BFG R1 245-40x17
-- $ 405 - Carbotech XP12 brake pads front / rear
-- $ 500 - mishimoto oil cooler
-- $ 350 - mishimoto radiator
-- $ 600 - APR brake ducts with carbon fiber bump inserts.
-- $2500 - full cage with daytona bars.
-- $1500 - interior repainted same as outside color.
-- $ 900 - one momo daytona seat with side mount and fixed mounting plate
-- $ 500 - 6 point harness Enduro Scrotch
==========
$9155 in parts - (no labor)

After some feedback from the track forum I assume the car is worth a little less than $20k.
So I have lowered my price down to $16k for a quick sale as the car I am eyeing for will certainly not stay for sale very long.

Hurry as after that I'll just continue this build. I think this is a good deal. Car is available for any inspection you need.

I would say for a salvage/rebuilt titled car that is track prepp'ed $13k would be a fair value.

I am interested if your cage is certified at all and who it was built by. Thanks in advance.

Ps-this will determine if I go forward on purchasing car

Nice cage and platform to build on. I'm thinking it will sell anywhere from $10-12k. Why not just keep it?

I had two buyers at $16k but I was not able to find a replacement car, and all cars I was looking at had their own issues.

So I decided to keep the car and build it a little more: suspensions and aero mainly.

I'll certainly put it back on for sale at the end of the year, if someone local really want to take a look at it, I may sell it
If not I'd rather avoid the headaches and keep it.

aka : The car is no longer for sale.
