You can try updating to the most recent graphics driver it might help. Down that has helped with HDMI sound issues for me. Also the DisplayPort on my 780 stopped working so I switched to DVI. I assumed the cable was bad but the way the monitor was built put a lot of stress on the port itself as well.

One thing to take note of is that DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort are all digital technologies. That being said there should be not differences in quality at the same resolution.

This video is very informative on the video standards:

Most modern Intel processors and AMD APU's have integrated graphics chips in them so that you don't have to get a dedicated card unless you want more power. The integrated graphics run to the port on the MOBO. When a dedicated card is plugged in that port is shut off. As far as I know laptops are the only computers that can switch between the integrated and dedicated graphics depending on load requirements.

Depends on the BIOS I believe. My primary computer (a modified Dell XPS desktop) has a BIOS setting that will allow it to use the onboard graphics if you choose to for a "second" monitor.

Huh good to know some have that option. I was working on a computer the other day needed graphics drivers but the drivers couldn't be installed unless the card was plugged in but with the card plugged in nothing would display. Did a quick skim of the BIOS and didn't see anything like for me. Ended up booting in to safe mode to install the drivers. Also this computer is like 20 years old. If I had the choice Id trash the thing but the DOD loves its legacy hardware.

So I've been wanting to play this classic 3DO / PC game recently:

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6iqtfaXimE"]ブラッドエンジェルス 3DO (Space Hulk Vengeance of the Blood Angels JP Ver.) - YouTube[/ame]

Pretty tight huh? Well Games Workshop is making a new release of the game hopefully this year!

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQhSiAKdBxM"]Space Hulk: Deathwing Off-Screen Gameplay 1080p - E3 2015 - YouTube[/ame]

Also this shit is hilarious:

@Sideways&Smiling If it's retarded like DS2 was then not really. If they actually make a quality game like DS1 then yep.

Why was DS2 retarded?
One of the few games I sunk 100 hours into.

OMG! I have this game on 3DO. It scared the piss out of me when I was younger. Not sure I ever got very far. I remember it being very hard, and very scary.
