Post Coolant loss - Void Warranty/ Edit: coolant flush question

Hey all,
A few months ago I realized my coolant was low so I topped her off. Again recently I realized it was low. Since it is an enclosed system, something must be wrong correct?
Anyway, I would like to take it to the dealership to have them check on it. I would like to know if my modifications will possibly "void" warranty if there is a problem. I have an UEL header, over-pipe, Catback, and aftermarket intake tube. All of which (besides catback) was installed after noticing the loss of coolant.

I'm not too knowledgable toward engine internals yet, so please be somewhat understanding.

Thanks

EDIT:
Ok so I was a noob a while back threw in some coolant that was sitting in my cabinets at home from my parents.
After doing lots more research since then and realizing that you should never do that, I check the overflow tank. It was goopy at the bottom which means the mix wasnt the same chemicals.

That being said, I now realize I need to empty and flush the system, then refill with Subaru coolant. Does anyone know of a good flush kit?

Thanks

You're fine. None of that should void your warranty.

It's not going to "void" your warranty, and I don't think they're going to blame your coolant loss on exhaust modifications. BUT, they can make a note in their system that you have aftermarket exhaust modifications and if you were to go in with some kind of engine issue, they may try to use that as an excuse to deny warranty coverage of that issue, even if you've returned to stock at that point.

As above mods dont completely void warranty, but if they can tie the problem back to a mod or aftermarket part then they can "void" warantee on that issue or part.

Its possible they may argue that the aftermarket header has caused engine bay temps to rise (no heat shields on aftermarket headers) , this may cause more evaporation from the coolant overflow tank , for example.

Or the extra heat caused deterioration of rubber/plastic pipes in engine bay if they were cracked/leaking/deteriorated faster than normal.

If its just loosing a small amount (say a cup full) over a few months in hot weather then it might just be evaporation from overflow tank.

If it loosing more than that in a week or so then its likely another issue like a leak or at worst cracked block/head leaking radiator ect.

If your at all concerned swap the stock header back in before you take it for warantee claim

Won't void the warranty, also important note:

My car "loses" coolant as well, took almost 8-9 months and right after a hot summer to notice it was on low when the engine was warm. I think it's a common issue, with it evaporating through the hoses and expansion tank cap and such. Other people have found that swapping to mishimoto hoses stops the issue. I personally just topped it off with a 1 gallon jug of Toyota long life coolant and it didn't even use a 1/4 of it after the aforementioned 8-9 months of hot summer whether, which lead me to believe in my case it was just an evaporation issue.

Stop using the word void.

Nothing is voided. You did not burn your car down nor did Subaru go out of busines.

As I put void in quotations, meaning deny.

Warranty claim denied, depends on your case.

The usage of the word void suggests that you no longer have a warranty and many people misunderstand how warranties work, like an aftermarket mod can cancel your entire warranty.

This is what I used for my car as a guide:

Personally I stay away from flush fluids and kits I just use a whole bunch of distilled water

I just use distilled water lol. I guess it matters more if you're in a freezing climate.
