vinyl wrap needs good care though, i have a normal gloss color wrapped car and you need to wash it with care. Friends with chrome wrapped cars tend to have a lot of scratches in it after owning the wrap on for over than a few months

I don't work for eurowraps.com but I'd wager you could get an 86 wrapped in that same chrome for about $6,500. You can do it yourself for a lot less, but that's assuming you can figure out how black chrome works before you waste a ton of product. On top of that, they provide a ton of customer service and at the end of 3 years they will replace the entire wrap for free.

I think it was worth it now knowing my paint won't get damaged for a few years.

That first picture looks really good.
As for the rest, I feel like that's what it would look like on a day to day basis .. Less than appealing, in my opinion.

Also, driving behind this at night seems like it would be a pain in the ass.
If you like it, it's all that matters. But no go for me

like anything else about aesthetic mods, its about appeal. Vinyl Wrap gives a owner a non-destructive method to change to color and finish of the car, more importantly can offer a wider range of textures and patterns not available in paint.

Black Chrome is one of my favorite colors on a car, and iv only seen an actual well done Black Chrome paint done on a lambo with a hefty price tag of $19,000USD.

Why full chrome on a car? Chrome and Mirror Finishes give an almost optic camo illusion like you would see with Predator, or ..uhh....Protos? It reflects the pattern of its surroundings putting the texture of the land on the car. The biggest draw backs is it also reflects light and can blind people when light is directed at it. Even if black chrome is a less violent mirror, vs chrome.

What matters is the owner, and how it he wants his car to look. But also fits within the general population's views of what is aesthetically pleasing to the eye/beautiful.

I personally love the look, but I'd never do it.

I'd say haters gonna hate, but honestly, few people dislike the black chrome. I've gotten thousands of instagram likes, hundereds of facebook likes. This vinyl gets a lot of attention in person and accents the already good looks of the car so much so that people ask if it's a Ferrari or a Lotus (which I know is silly but it happens a lot).

My number one goal with this car is to be different. I'll never be the best (or even good) driver or have the fastest car, but I love driving this thing to death and it makes me smile to know that what I have is somewhat unique. I've seen a full chrome FRS somewhere on the internet, but it wasn't to my liking.

I share these pictures so you guys can have an open conversation about changing the looks of your cars for relatively low cost and making it your own. I welcome people to say they don't like it and I hope that this topic remains civil.

*here's an outside cloudy day shot.
