sounds like you're torturing yourself over the car. the more you look for information about the car, the more you want to actually get the car. happens to me all the time when I'm bored and browsing car parts. just hope that the car is all that you think it is when you get it, otherwise it might be a huge disappointment lol

I voted by ordering the 2017 BRZ Premium, last week, without the performance package.
For me anything firmer than the base 2017 BRZ, is not beneficial for public road enjoyment and I can't see any benefit with the Brembos on the road either, except they look good behind the black wheels. That might be the best reason for someone to get them.

Yeah, I am. Everyone on the planet say that I am mildly retarded for wanting to get a BRZ vs the very nice AWD cars or the VW GTI. Lol, back of my mind I default to this sucker.

doing the winter in the car will be the whole thing. I am set on PP if I get the car. I am coming from a 2006 MIni cooper S. It has "go kart" hard hard bumpy ride. Very very smooth on open roads at high speed, but potholes feel like sledgehammers. More than the WRX I tested by far, and that is with me taking out the Mini's runflats and using regular tires with also +5 in sidewall number (went from 55 to 60)

Im in the same boat as you. My phone background is of the 17 PP so everyday I go crazy checking for updates

Funny thing, I also came from an R53 cooper with the JCW package. I traded it in for a GTI a year ago and miss it every day. The GTI is too....numb and comfortable People think I'm crazy for not enjoying the GTI and going back to N/A after being boosted for years. I just say, I tried supercharger, turbocharger, now time for some N/A fun!

Whoa! That is the same circumstance.... I would think rare but actually it is not. Most of the people on here never experienced a car like the r53, it is unique, very. Not just fast or small, it's a completely different car.

I think the next closest to the Mini is the VW GTI SE (mk7 series, newer one). It has a beautiful interior, Fender audio, German paint (japanese paint seems to look dull 1 year vs 10 looks bright on my mini).

however, I have heard some r53 owners getting the BRZ, saying it is the next move after an r53.

I got an email tonight with an order confirmation and a VON saying that my BRZ w/PP should be at the dealership in the last week of January

I ordered mine the first day it was available to do so. My ETA updated this past week to Dec '16, though I honestly don't expect to see it until Jan. Not like I will be able to drive it in WI winters anyways...

I got a VON when I ordered but haven't received any emails.
