I could only imagine the turbulence through this part. And that's where they put the MAF, in what looks like a 2.25 inch section of pipe. |

Nevertheless, Bob did a good job to get around it if he had to resort to SD to get it going. |

Despite those numbers, still seems like turbo is a much better option and bang for your buck. Especially in the new year with engine internals being released, these superchargers are going to be maxed out around here.

If you aren't looking to spend a lot of money internals are out of the question.

Which is you aren't making big power without spending big money. Turbo is great if you want to build big and do it big. |

Keep it on topic guys. No need to debate turbo vs s/c since that has been done over, and over, and over, and over, and......

My opinions is I like the car how it act but needed more power. I didn't want to denaturized the car AND wasn't interessted in getting turbo so I choose S/C. I tried a vortech FRS and a turbo FRS and both was not acting the same way and prefere the S/C because it did not denaturized the car. I'm not saying turbo or S/C is better or bad, what I'm saying is I made my choice on my own testing. Not on what people say on the internet... Not a true enthusiast ? Tell me Subaru and Toyota wanted to make a turbo version that have 300+hp and I will agree with you : I did not get the point and are not a true enthusiast... |

In EUROPE that I know the only place is ENGLAND. Now do You think I could srsly drive to UK just for a tune and then at the first problem have my car grounded for ages? So the answer to my whole question is simple: If you want a S/C and You haven't access to a proper TUNER/DYNO you should look elsewhere and buy another kit. |

There are shops in your country that tune the FA20 platform as indicated on the EcuTek website. With that being said, I don't know how close you are to any of them but they do exist which is contrary to what you are saying. You're welcome!
