Invidia NEW Over pipe.

These are images directly off Invidia's website.

Anyhow, I know some of you bros here used to run in subbies and what not. & Invidia is big on subbies how were there over pipes for the wrx/sti?

This costing about 200 bucks shipped does not sound like a bad deal.

Currently running borla headers, stock over pipe, berk catted front pipe, invidia N1 exhaust.

OK GOoooooooooo~

If its anything like their catbacks and front pipes, the fitment should be spot on. I'd have gotten this if I didn't get my coated JDL overpipe. Great price.

That's so much money for a little piece of piping.

It's the bends that cost money, not the pipe. That's the issue with this item no matter who makes it even if it is in China or wherever. A single mandrel bend ranges from 20-26 dollars, then multiply that by the 4 or 5 this thing needs. Plus flanges, welding, shipping, packaging and etc it all adds up fast.

We see this comment come up a lot on the overpipes no matter who makes it. So just trying to relate why they are so expensive.

I just find it so hard to believe that no one can figure out a manufacturing process that is cheaper.

Just throwing this out there. I have both the front pipe and the N1 catback. The FP fit perfectly, while the catback required some forceful effort (bending the pass-side hanger) to get to fit correctly. Quality product, none-the-less.

Completely off topic, but I used that gif as an avatar years ago and had forgotten all about it. I absolutely love it! Well done.

I'm sure if someone would invent a machine that could bend pipe that cost less than current methods every one would be down for it.

Yea, they are so expensive to make. This is why it's the only part of my exhaust that is still stock. I just can't justify it.

Yea a mandrel pipe bender will run you like 20k on the low side. Not even very many exhaust shops have them, let a lone tuner shops. And of course, because tgey are so pricey, people who do own one charge an arm and a leg per bend for other people.
