Same with my Suburban which technically is factory jacked up (its a Z71).

I've considered putting air ride on it just so I could lower it since I drive it on the road 99.8% of the time. I've driven really jacked up trucks (belonging to other people) and unless you are running through mud somewhere I just don't get it.

My Dodge are 4x4, 4 door, standard height with stock 20 inch tires. Surprisingly, they handle very well.

Pretty sure some of them are applying their stripper pole training.

Not good, not good at all. Especially the ones that venture into the city? what are you doing here with your elephant ear mirrors? Gonna knock goddamn light poles down with those. One guy was lifted with a widened track that was so wide that he wouldn't fit in the lane and was blocking traffic, causing congestion. You HAVE to have a personality of umm... a certain kind, let's just say... in order to drive that, I just can't envision a nice normal dude driving it. There has to be something off there

Well at least they could get through all the unplowed roads and entrances that I am told that your "backwoods hicks" leaves behind.

Yes, during a snow storm these would be quite good, in the same way that a clock that doesn't work would show the right time twice a day.

In Vermont, most of the people who have these lifted trucks definitely drive like you'd expect someone to drive a spring-cut 96 Civic. It is an epidemic, but at least the truck has some sort of purpose, I just hate them because they typically do 30+ MPH over the speed limit and tailgate / park horizontally.

When they have their 16" wheels with a 13" Skyjacker lift kit and super swampers, it's hilarious to wonder how much money they've spent on it. Then I remember that thousands of people put huge wings on their cars, do coilovers, forced induction, and their car is only driven on normal, public roads, mostly doing around the speed limit. Oh well. Next time you see one, just remember that they're a different kind of car enthusiast, maybe it'll put them in a different light - doesn't mean you can't hate them though

Actually in snow they would probably totally suck since those tires would just slide around. Now if there is ever a mudslide...

All in all I am glad I do not have to deal with them on a regular basis.

Wings and coil overs don't kill people (usually). Four foot high bumpers kill people.
They are different all right.

I'm also curious what their fuel bill is like considering how they drive them like sports cars.

Air ride is awesome. Also it rides better.

Just because it's true doesn't mean you have to say it. Ouch!

That's because Rams since at least 2009 have had independent suspension, not primitive solid axles.

Trucks are invisible to police. How many times have you seen a truck pulled over vs a Civic? They sell a hell of a lot more trucks, and I'd say they're a small fraction of the vehicles I see pulled over. Especially white trucks that look like work trucks. I've driven five different cars past CHP blocking our canyon entrance, and they are always stern and asking for an ID. I pull up in the truck, and the CHP are all smiles. "Go ahead!" A big truck is working class white ID.
