Well question is, if this is overlay or replacement. If it's overlay, FR-S & BRZ have different gauges, so not one fits all... but if it's replacement then, that's different story.

The gauge cluster electronics are encrypted and even if it's bootleg it won't be just $155 lol!

I think on the BRZ tS thread some peeps have already swapped the overlay from the JDM tS gauges over but nobody has the balls to swap the cluster backlighting from red to white yet.
Haha, I should of watch that vid... it would of answered myself #failure

Looks like it's gauge cover replacement and not layover. Layover I was talking bout is like this one Club4AG FR-S gauge overlay kit

Also as for the red back light, someone did DIY

I was gonna edit what I wrote and managed to delete the post haha!

I think only parts of the JDM tS cluster light up white. Can't imagine it's any harder than changing LEDs on a Nokia 3310 lol!

Interesting I just found this thread:

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63215

Apparently you can get a new unpaired cluster and it should install no issues. But then the mileage resets to zero (possible fraud felony?).

Don't get caught?

What's the process for the backlight change? Is it multiple lights or just one? If multiple, just replace certain ones that match your gauges

Just drive in reverse like Puff and Big, (RIP Notorius) to "remove" miles.

It worked in Ferris Buellers day off too!

iirc there are several led lights, so just need to change the rpm led lights.

No, if you touch the mileage in general is against the law.
