I had a print shop vinyl print my designs then epoxy a glass dome and a 3d printed base. Removed the top of the OEM shift knob and just press in the new top I made. Stays in without glue. The good thing is it's completely reversible and removable. Maybe I'll swap one every day of the weak. I am tweaking the size a bit so it feels like OEM too.

Ah darn, I was hoping you had some trick to making those yourself that wasn't crazy-difficult.

Here's my 22 GR86. Things I've done over the last few months:

Carbon Shift Knob, Carbon Hand Brake, 25mm Spacers, camber bolts (-1.38 F and R), 20% window tints, 50% shield, Sound Enhancement disconnect, and Invidia Q300 Exhaust.

I tried to install SPC Performance 81305 Camber Bolts on my front wheels this weekend, but ultimately got spooked and backed out. The install videos I had found show a 16mm top bolt and a 14mm lower bolt, but when I got the wheels off, both of the bolts were 19mm. Has anyone else run into this? Is it safe to assume I should not be using the SPC Performance 81305 Camber Bolts?

The 14 and 16mm are the shank sizes not the bolt head size. Many run the lower bolts up to with a 14mm camber bolt in the bottom. Some run camber bolts in both holes.

Can you get more camber when running camber bolts in both upper and lower locations, and do you know if it would be a different part for a camber bolt that goes in the upper, larger slot? Thanks!

To run both properly, you would need a 14mm and 16mm camber bolt. It may be more than a 14mm lower camber bolt and lower bolts moved to the top position, but you may run into strut clearance issues.

I used the same SPC Camber bolts and they worked perfectly fine. Put them in the lower mount and make sure to get a proper alignment after. I was able to get matching -1.38 on both sides.

3D printed a working shift knob. No pictures because it annoys me to post stuff online just to post in online somewhere else. (I've gotten lazy in my old-ish age and like when I can just CTRL-V into the forum.)

Also, the shift knob currently looks stupid - it's just big orange teardrop because I'm prototyping at the moment. Testing different ways to weight it, and may switch the plastic threads to an imbedded M10 nut (for strength and weight).

Then to make it anything other than a silly side project I'll have to think of something I'd genuinely want to replace the current knob with that the wife wouldn't be too embarrassed to be seen in public with.

Which rules out my first idea: the femur shifter from Fury Road. Sadly, that's going to stay on the tap of my kegerator.
