That’s all I am saying. They need to do an apples to apples comparison considering price and features.

For an ugly vehicle with breakable glass this thing sure gets a lot of attention here. Maybe someone will start another header thread?

Pretty much the difference is number of motors and the range. Everything else is the same, and you can prepay for real autopilot. The one in the F150 tug of war is the two motor version.

The 1979 James Bond movie, Moonraker, didn't have a special "Bond" car.

i believe that a lot of that has to do with the history of the companies. all current automakers outside of tesla feel they have to appeal to the bottom end of the market at the same time they have to offer something at the very top end of the same market. historically, all the automakers that do that started off as 'peoples cars' first, appealing to the lower end of the market, and then increasing options and features once there was a dedicated consumer base that wanted their specific vehicles, but with higher end features. tesla on the other hand is one of the first auto makers i know of to start at the high end side, and then start to work their way down to the low end side of the spectrum. so i believe this sets them up to not needing to care about interior trim levels because when they started, they didn't have different classes..

Also, back to the topic, the same Tesla fanboys that get their penises into chastity cages over trucks pulling each other are the same guys who get excited when Toyotas out pull some US truck. Yet somehow most of the real work is done with Fords, Chevys, and Dodges.

Only problem with an ev is the lack of problematic stage 1 tunes, no aftermarket "support " whatsoever and no check engine lights. What will we do?
