Allow me to welcome myself into your midst of meat. 17x9 +42 Mach V Awesome's 245/40/17 Bridgestone RE-11A Compared to stock: no stretch, no bulge, 100% lean meat. Whiteline top mounts add enough negative camber for safe OEM lower spring perch clearance. Lowered 22mm on RCE Yellows. No rub on and off track.

Do these top hats have any adjustments, or are they just bolt-in negative camber? Looking at the pics of them, they look solid...weird... Also, would I run into issues without them? Stock Struts and S-Techs.

More on that here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26146 With 245's on a 17x9 +35 wheel you shouldn't have any clearance issues. You may be able to run OEM camber bolts with stock strut top mounts without rubbing but be sure to double check everything before assuming it's ok.

sorry didn't realize this was more of a full tire thread. Thought it was like the aggressive wheel thread. The wheels are curbed and the paint is chipping, these have been my drift set for two years so they've seen better days. |
