backfire at cold start

hello all together!

Have you also already experienced backfire at a cold start when you step on the gas while pushing the sart button?
Iīm asking cause i question myself if this is a normal reaction or if i should better go to the dealer
Hope for some experiences!

I don't think you should need to step on the gas while you are trying to start the car...

+1. Keep feet off throttle while starting.
You don't have carbs.

+2, see if you get pops when you start it without throttle. Pops are probably because you are throwing fuel into the engine and its rich from startup, some escapes into the ehaust and ignites.

I'll plus 3 that ...... yep, "old habits are hard to break" ..... but like said above, we don't have to "set" the choke anymore ....

PS - no, my car doesn't backfire at startup.... it just peacefully goes through its little warm up dance.

This happens to me in the mornings. Only when my car is started cold (from being sitting outside for 12+ hours).

1.5k-2k RPM idle with intermittent popping for 30 seconds. Then it dips to 1k RPM with no popping. Drive away with no popping.

It happens to me sometimes but i have a borla cat delete plus muffler delete. On rare occasions my car will take some cranks to get going, once it starts and i hit the throttle my car will backfire alot but then stops.
