Good News and Bad News

The good news:
Noise generator DELETED!

Replaced fender and bumper bolts with billet aluminum ones.

And the last of the good news is the install of the side markers I got about two months ago.

Now the bad news... I got a fucking speeding ticket! Same place as the last one I got 13 years ago! Fucking hell! Never got one when I had a the Porsche and now I get one.

Ugh, sorry man. Was it radar or something else? V1 is my friend, but even then nothing helps with instant on K-band.

If you have insurance renewal coming anytime in the next few months plead not guilty and ask for a court date, then a week before a continuance to bump it past any derogs on your record. Then plead or fight it. That's based on my last speeding ticket 20 years ago that proved to the judge that the county deputy wasn't authorized to write a ticket on that particular Interstate location and I beat it.

Fortunately, I live next to and play in the Mt. Hood National Forest area that's the size of Rhode Island with only one county deputy on patrol at any time so have not had any issues. But anywhere outside of the forest or track days and I'm Walter Mitty.

Anyway, nice move blocking the sound tube. Really quiets obnoxious noises and lets engine music dominate.

Good luck.

My wife turned up the radio and I did not hear my Escort 9500. I should have paid more attention to the stupid visual alerts. I need to move that fucker to a more visible spot. What I need is a HUD! :-)

And to make it worse it was right off the Ross Island Bridge, 5 miles from my house!

Looks good! I've been thinking of doing that. The greater contrast really makes them stand out. What type of paint did you use?

I used the same paint that's on the wheels. When I had the shop do them I asked that they save any left over paint because I had this in mind. It's an automotive paint that needs to be clearcoated over with urethane clear.

Took her out of winter storage (she's on a salt-free diet), drove an hour to my favorite twisties, turned on a blues station, and drove like there's no tomorrow. It's been a long hard winter but now everythings right with the world again!
