Any updates? How was your track day? How were you times/temps throughout the day? Noticeable heat soak? What kind of brakes are you running?

Here are my temp logs from the first afternoon session: Heat soak (read: the retention of heat in the supercharger assembly between sessions) was definitely there. However, the the heat exchanger was within its efficiency range the entire track day, as evident by the temperature data above. My build thread is in my signature if you'd like to see details of my setup. But, in regards to brakes alone, they are as follows: Stoptech Trophy Kit Front BBK Carbotech XP8 Pads (F&R) SS Lines ATE Type200 Fluid I'm working on video uploads, currently. But my hands are kind of tied. I have the videos, I have them edited, I have them ready for upload...I just happen to live 'in the sticks' where my upload speeds are <1mbps and are never stable long enough to complete an upload it seems. I have to time it just right!

Great thread, thank you. Looking forward to more info...some of us may use the 'off season' to really nail down which FI kit they're going to commit to!

The Edelbrock kit already pulls air from the stock airbox inlet, and most of the air going in is air that bypasses the LTR. If anything, figuring out a way to make the IC work better would have a more dramatic effect. If anything, this is pretty low IAT compared to say... a C7 Z06 or a GT500. |
