Fitted some new wheels and had the geometry set up.

(Excuse the state of the car)

The wheels are Rota Titan's in 17x9 et42 finished in a custom bronze (which the people who've seen them in the flesh will be able to confirm bears little resemblance to the colour the pictures show!) fitted with 235/45/17 Continental Sport Contact 5's. Wheels and tyres weighed in at 18.1kg. When I weighed the stock wheels and tyres I got them as 18.7kg so a (cough) massive 600g per wheel saved. However, the fact there is any weight saving at all with that much wider wheels and tyres is pretty good.

Geometry was set to -2.7 degrees camber at the front with 0 toe and at the rear -2.2 degrees camber with a little toe in.

Not really done much recently due to ongoimg health issues. I had a replacement under body aero panel fitted as the original had got damaged and split.

I picked these up to try though:-

I had the Motons fitted and was able to grab a few pictures which I thought I'd add here.

Motons ready to go on:-

Comparison of front moton and tein flex a:-

Comparison of the rear moton and flex a:-

Motons and Whiteline front arb link comparison:-

I also grabbed a couple of pictures of the 911 GT3 brake ducts that were fitted a while ago.

Final picture shows the deflector on the front bumper (right on the picture) fitted as stock and how this guides the air towards the GT3 brake ducts (left on the picture) which then guide it towards the brakes themselves:-

Few updates since I last posted. Motons are now on a 9 front, 11 rear spring which seems to be working fairly well although is a little stiff on the road.

Grabbed a few pictures after a quick clean too:-

Nice metal flake in the paint

I ordered a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres after I sold my summer wheel and tyre set. I decided I preferred the car on semi track tyres for summer use.

Picture of how she's sitting at the moment on the Motons and Cup 2's

I also picked up a few bits to be fitted:-

Apologies for the rubbish picture

Last remaining new Whiteline roll centre correction kit in the UK I believe!

I've got some surface rust on my cam solenoid covers so picked up some ACF50 to treat and protect it and some perrin cam solenoid covers to cover it over.

Finally I also picked up a set of these to try:-

New winter tyres ordered today. I've been really impressed with the Nokian WRA3's I've run for the past 5 years and 2 cars so have gone with their replacement which is just out - Nokian WRA4's in 225/45/17. Ideally I'd have liked a 235 but sadly they aren't available.
