So what wheels will it be? ;-)

Nice car, love the "racing stripe" the light made on picture 2

Thanks! I thought the stripe was good too!

I've been looking for light wheels at a decent price which would let me re-use the stock tyres and I think I've settled on the konig daylites. Only problem is the colour. Think it's going to end up being gold.

Finally got chance to get my new wheels fitted. I know they wont be to everyone's taste as, due to the design not having the spokes going all the way to the edge, although they are 17's they appear smaller. It's also not the greatest picture - the angle seems to make them look smaller than they appear in real life.

However, they do fulfill the purpose I had in mind and are noticeably lighter than stock - I weighed the new wheels at 7kg using some bathroom scales. I'm not 100% convinced by their accuracy but I will weigh a stock wheel with them and it should at least give an accurate difference in weight even if the actual weights may be a little off.

Used the same method and got the stock wheel weight at 9kg so a useful 2kg saving per wheel over stock.

Few updates.

Had an exhaust fitted. It's a Cobra non-resonated cat-back.

Quick picture and a link to a video on youtube below (excuse how dirty the car is!):-

Thought I'd add this shot as it's pretty up to date and the cars actually clean!

Never too fond of pinstripes on wheels, but you've nailed it with your car.
