Well, if I had winters on the car, I would leave them on for a bit longer. That's all I was trying to say.

However, the forecast says +10, and sunny this Saturday.

Plus, right now I'm still driving my Corolla still. Lenore is in getting 4 months worth of parts installed today and over the next week or so.

Last night I did JPM Coachworks gauge culster hood, Grimmspeed battery tie down, and Grimmspeed hood strutts.

Today, Grimmspeed master cyliner brace, more JPM stuff, Perrin drop in filter.

I have RCE springs, and Perrin pully that I'll need our service dept to help me with. Likely not doing those until next week, maybe later.

I am glad I had my winters on the days we got the big dumpings of snow and when I went to the car show (Toronto got clobbered and K-W got nothing). If I had ended up with the all season Turanza's I would have made the switch already, but, driving on summer tires in the winter is at the very least daring. I will be waiting at least one more week if you can believe The Weather Network.

Slartibartfast,
You are a machine. Definitely looking forward to hearing what you think of all of your mods. I have heard really good things about both the Perrin pulley and the Grimmspeed master cylinder brace.

Super glad we still had the winters on yesterday!

So - looks like I may have accidentally left my key in a jacket I had to exchange. No luck when I called them back so it looks like a replacement key will be necessary. Called my dealership but it looks like replacement keys are 290$+ tx.

Has anyone had any luck with ordering blanks off ebay and then taking them to the dealership to be programmed? I've been googling but no clear answer on fr-s keys. :/

Check your owners manual I believe it tells you how to program the key yourself, one of my coworkers has bought blanks online had them cut and programmed them himself. His only warning is to have a locksmith cut the key not some Canadian tire kid or other hardware store

I took a look just now - basically says go to the dealership. There's information on the FCC, but it's the same info as what's on the back of the key anyways.

I might try buying a blank that matches the same info, and see if I can find a tutorial to program it online. Thanks!

I'm back on the road today. What a day, I spotted 2 more today. Highway 7 East at Fisher Hallman around 4:45pm, red FR-S. Wanted to wave high, but too much traffic and 2 huge trucks, no playing there.
Then on my way back on Fisher Hallman & Ottawa, at 5:30sh spotted white FR-S, driven by a girl/lady.

Also 3 days ago I spotted white FR-S, for 2 days now on Northland drive in Waterloo at one of the flooring retailers.

The twins are everywhere .

Driving the car again is unreal. I forgot about how much feedback it gives. I will probably have bad mileage on my first tank out of storage haha!

@engsr - pretty sure I came up behind and then passed you on the expressway as you exited (last second) onto University around 1pm today... Unless it was another silver BRZ.

^ Nope, wasn't me. There was another silver BRZ that I followed off 85 to University East a while back but I don't think she saw me or didn't want to look at the idiot honking and waving ... not that I did that. Could have been the same one - it's a Sport Tech too.

I did spot a white FRS (with Michigan plates) tonight coming through Mississauga on the 401. Wasn't really paying attention until the he slowed down as he was passing. Don't know what it is but there's just something about these cars and the way the taillights illuminate at night that makes it look so amazingly different. It's something I don't notice when I look at my car.

Holy crow! Enjoy drifting in the ice storm. I hope the weather forecast is wrong. Maybe you should hook up with the Scottishjedi, he's been on summers all winter since getting his car. You guys are either incredibly brave or crazy. No offense. I have been quite anxious to get mine back on, but, I think I will wait and see what tomorrow brings. Good luck.
