You do realize that your twin is part of the Matrix, right? The red pill means you have to leave it parked inside there.

Enjoy the squiddies!

And before someone says wtf cares?! Well, it was just a intent to have a odd and more different chat.
I'm in on that, but you have to be willing to defend your point of view with evidence!

Newton said gravity was a mutually attractive force. Einstein said instead that gravity was the result of the warping of space-time by the presence of mass. The higher the mass, the more the warping of space-time. Today, I noticed that there has been physical confirmation of the existence of gravity waves, which Einstein had predicted. Successively better approximations of reality.

Since every other type of "wave function" in physics is mediated by a corresponding particle (light and photons, electromagnetic waves and electrons, other quantum particles with their corresponding waves) it makes me think about whether there actually could be graviton particles. What kind of cool stuff could we do if we learned to manipulate those? Perhaps anti-gravity?

Maybe we could learn to fall off the earth after all!

I wonder what my dog thinks sometimes too.

@babydriver

Yes, of course. But when I refered to a ballony as my godaughter calls them, I meant a helium one for the one going up and a hot air balloon for the one that needs energy to fight gravity. Yet, gravity is not a force.

I'll attempt to blow your mind here:
Have you heard of zero point energy?
The theory goes that the "ether" or vacuum of space is a sea of virtual particles of all shapes & kinds (and momentums) but they do not interact with regular matter.
There are neutrinos flying right through your body right now, but the matter in our bodies doesnt interact with it so we dont feel it.

Now this sea of particles is said to have a certain energy to it that governs the properties of space.
If you could coax some of those particles to interact with matter you might be able to extract some energy from it.

Enter the Casimir effect. This effect was theorized to exist between two conductive metal plates VERY closer together but not touching.

The theory went that as the plates got closer and closer together they conductive nature of the metal would "exclude" the waveforms of certain virtual particles so that they would be less likely to exist between the plates.

As the plates get closer, the number of particles excluded gets larger and this creates an effective "pressure" on the outside of the plates pushing them together.

This force has been proven to be real and actually must be compensated for in micro-mechanical systems.

So what if we could build a "casimir waveguide" that instead of excluding certain particles within the confinement of the walls, it enhances the probability of a certain particle with a certain momentum and then tickles them into existence?
The "tickling into existence" is not that farfetched, it happens at the event horizons of black holes, and inside our particle colliders.

Suddenly you would have the ability to briefly "push" on these virtual particles and have propulsion-less thrusters.

There have been some recent experiments that some say violate the principal of conservation of momentum, but create thrust from nothing but a RF resonant cavity....
If you had propelantless thrust, you could sort of just hang in midair above the surface of the earth by canceling the force of gravity... know anything rumored to do that?

Dont get me started on Fuzors and deuterium reactions.

the planets arent really spinning in circles around our sun. our entire system is traveling through space. and it is orbiting the center of our galaxy too, along with everything else in our arm of the milky way. and then the entire galaxy is moving
