Why dont we fall off the Earth?

Because of herphloglafil.

So we do stand upsidedown when we stand in Antarctica? Does our body work harder in pumping blood?

Hmmmm sometimes flat Earth theories dont sound so weird.

What are your guys thoughts? Hope to get some 'science' students in here.

Man people upside down... so odd.

Did you know there are a few places where gravity is insignificantly stronger than others?

Whoa....

Sorry sometimes my brain drips through my mouth.

Lol but serious thoughts. What yall think?

Mr.ac 02-12-2016 02:07 AM

I think you should fucking share.

Are you pulling a B.O.B.?

regardless of where you stand on the Earth, the gravity vector (the force holding you down) points towards the center of the Earth.

Yes the uniformity of the gravity field varies at different locations on the earth.
That is due to variations in the local density and even magma flows and the ocean tide.

If you use a force balance type of scale (with springs in it) you would measure the weight of something is different at the north pole than it would measure at the equator.

Using a true balance scale (where you put known weights on one end) would give the same results at the poles as at the equator.

Haha i had to google bob to get what you were talking about.

Actually i found some h.s. physics book i never returned from h.s. and then found old notes from college about refraction and Einstein regarding gravity. Then Sky started playing The Cure and i found myself googling center of the earth book.

It all kinda mixed. I found a odd map of a flat Earth, and started imagining what if it were true? Now, i dont believe it is but i want to believe. (X-Files reference )

Oh took me forever but i found pic.

Then i read this.

Quote:

...what we call scientific knowledge today is a body of statements of varying degrees of certainty. some of them are most unsure; some of them are nearly sure; but none is absolutely certain. scientists are used to this. we know that it is consistent to be able to live and not know. some people say, 'how can you live without knowing?' i do not know what they mean. i always live without knowing. that is easy. how you get to know is what i want to know.'

One thing led to another and i found theories of concave earth, flat earth and bubble earth.

Either way, its fascinating!

What if NASA and world govts have hidden alien life and in truth our Earth is much bigger? (Again do i believe it? No. But just for discussion)

What if we do live in a water hole that has thawed out from an ice age earth? Maybe theres more! Earth can be a globe and yet not be fully discovered? Goldman Sachs, the illuminati, Obama and Disney just keep us from exploring further. Lol im just thinking for fun.

Concerning gravity. Isnt buoyancy amazing? Helium balloon or water bottle will fight gravity to some degree.

I don't do drugs.

Packofcrows 02-12-2016 03:22 AM

Lol guys.

Buoyancy fights gravity, yet loses but uses no energy. Kinda like a hot air balloon. ..except we need energy to keep it up...

Am i scaring you guys? Guess i shouldnt bring in the force of gravity formula...

No drugs. Lol

Because TIME CUBE is 4 different corner harmonic 24 hour Days rotate simutaneously within a single 4 quadrant rotation of a squared equator and cubed Earth.

That north is "up" and south is "down" seems arbitrary to me. Maybe it's not us in the Southern Hemisphere that are upside down but you in the northern hemisphere.

My head hurts now

Dont you have to check out the book under your name and return it at the end of semester/year? If you don't, they make you pay a crap ton of money...

At least thats how it was at my hs

Teseo 02-12-2016 08:43 AM

Sounds like.... aliens!!
More interesting to me is the sun, it want explode but the gravity keep it in place. And reach it some kind of balance, in the end the sun will consume itself and will explode destroying the milk way... still on drugs
