Most modern cars have an arrow above the fuel gauge to denote what side the fuel door is on.

The only car I own that has that is the FRS. Even so, who looks at the fuel gauge for directional guidance. From what I've seen that is more common if the fuel door is on the passenger side.

I also have owned cars (many years ago) where it was in the middle of the rear, or in the front, oh and hidden behind the tail light on top of the fins.

Post your 86 or see others in front of a(n) (in)famous landmark.
What fits in your 86? Show us the "Junk In Your Trunk".

Although Cosby is persona non grata these days, back on the 70s he had a funny stand up bit about borrowing a sports car from a friend, going to the gas station and neither he nor the attendant could find the filler cap. Cosby's solution - "pour it all over the car and hope it leaks in somewhere."

You make it sound like he prefers hot cars, but we all know he prefers sleepers.
