FBM Premium Turbo w/SSP High Stall Torque Converter and Racing Valve Body

Just finished up installing the new High Performance Stall Converter from South Side Performance and their new still under development Stage 1 Valve Body. The factory stall is around 2450 with the SSP it brings it up to 3k allowing the car to build boost quicker and launch like a bat out hell! The new Valve Body increases the shift stiffness, in return getting down the road a lot faster and adding a little extra longevity to the trans. On the stage 1 VB my car hits 40mph in 1st and barks the tires going into 2nd. 2nd through 4th are firm but not as much as 1st to 2nd. The stage 2 VB will have the same stiffness throughout the first 4 gears. It has been a great pleasure working with @sspkris at South Side being the lab rat! Below is a few videos taken over the last couple days. I have not retuned my car since the additions and it needs it. I hope you guys enjoy the video and contact South Side Performance and FullBlown for all your performance needs!

I wish I could still drive a manual. Several back surgeries and 12 years in the Army will screw that up.

How were the installs? Did you have access to a lift? Can't wait till the price is released for the valve bodies.. Plan to go on a shopping spree at SSP! If you want, I can get a few pulls of my stock trans for somewhat of a comparison video. Just gotta teach me how to mount a go pro on top of my head lol

I assisted my master mechanic do the installs because I wanted to learn and learn a lot indeed. I am not a mechanic, 12 yrs in the Army. I would highly recommend a lift for the TC but the VB shouldn't be a problem without one. I had the GoPro sunctioned to the inside roof of the car. I still have it mostly stripped out.

Wow. Glad to see more mods to the AT. Looks like both the stall converter and valve body really helps FI cars off the line.

How is the wheel hop compared to a manual? It looks like you light up and stay lit with a smooth transition to traction in 2nd. I don't hear any wheel hop.
