Name this missing part. Please

Under the intake manifold cover there are the two hoses. On all pictures I have seen there are two hoses, mine has one and one capped off. Any reason the one is missing and capped off? Thanks for any help I can get.Name: uploadfromtaptalk1400024746946.jpg

You're missing the thermocline valve.

No way. The thermocline valve is what keeps temperature change within the intake manifold to a minimum.
