unfortunately the TRD seats were heavier than stock i think. i was estimating earlier based on data on nsxprime on bride seats but the TRD seats seem to weigh more than the Bride version as they have padding and stuff to them all around the back (my comparison to bride is a guess). TRD seats weigh about the same as the stock driver seat i think (a friend who recently bought the seat weighed his in at 44lbs with rails but i can confirm). what im getting at is I actually gained weight on the passenger seat with this mod. sucks i know haha. on a positive note, i just pulled out my 11lb battery today, and i replaced it with a 3.9lb battery. saved additional weight there (stock is 29.6lbs). so it's a little bit of an offset. I love the way the trd sport seats look and feel so im keeping them.
i also pulled out my brz sub today. i weighed that at 13.6lbs(using a home scale fwiw). i also deleted my spare. i have beatrush front and rear bumper beams coming which i think are lighter than stock, ill weigh them when they arrive. also changing out some of my exhaust pieces to titanium. im keeping my TRD quads to maintain the oem look. all in all i will have a lighter car, i will take it in and weigh the entire car in the next month or so. i should also have a new dyno soon as the motor going to be fiddled with a bit to see if we can get a little more power out of it. to the other member who asked about my fender arches, my fenders have the TRD fender extensions on them.

I benchmarked my build based on cars ive owned in the past. i owned 3 nsx's in the past (also owned supra twin turbo, rx7 turbo ii, m5, acura legend, bunch of cars).... i started with NSX as my initial benchmark but then my build evolved more into a griffon inspired car later on.
lightweight NA build essentially. built na motor with titanium connecting rods because nsx, lightweight hp to weight overall build strategy because nsx, ...trd because oem and griffon... other various unmentioned parts because performance (mostly because lightweight).
