LOL - can't wait to see what you guys develop!
We are not going to choose sides and pick one or the other. We love that the same part fits on both. We only choose the Subaru to start with because of our relationship with them. Fun times to come!

Hi hi. Styl3z here. I was a part of a group buy for the Scion FRS in Canada. Preordered a Whiteout FRS.

My previous rides were 94 civic, 92 integra, 08 ninja 250. All sold Currently driving a RAV4.

I was looking at brand new 2011 Kawasaki ZX6R. I even had an amazing deal 9.4k no freight or pdi and was ready to buy.... And then got a email saying preorder your FRS now! So did a little research and came across this forum. Next thing you know, I'm apart of a group buy (thanks to Saibot) and preordered a Whiteout 6MT.

Hello everyone names Russ from Florida. Iv been looking around the forums for while and deiced to take the plunge and join. Iv been a car guy for as long as i can remember always been a Toyota guy first car was a 87 Camry got it for 100$ next car was a 90 Celica GTS my favorite car iv ever owned. I worked as a tech at a local Toyota dealer for 5 years left for a better job opportunity.

When i found out the FR-S was officially coming out this year i whent over to my neighbor house (AKA my old service manager) see if he could still get me a deal and he said come on own. Now i just have to decide between what color to get Raven or Asphalt.

The BRZs are likely to be marked up, but the FR-Ss shouldn't be, since the Scion brand is pure pricing and cannot be marked up -- dealerships caught adding mark ups (or selling below MSRP) can get in trouble by Toyota and may get penalized by not being able to sell any Scions, unless the rules have changed.

However, having worked at a Toyota dealership here in Southern California myself, they can sometimes get around that, such as by adding dealer-installed equipment. I believe that Scion/TRD equipment specifically for Scions is also pure pricing, but they sometimes also throw in non-Scion/TRD equipment that is marked up, but then they use the "Scions are pure pricing and we can't change the price" reasoning.

Still, I'd rather get the BRZ anyway, assuming you can get one at MSRP or lower, though it's not too likely to get one below MSRP, at least not this soon.

You are correct, Ive looked around and going rate is 1k up towards 4k depending on the dealer. I also worked at a toyota and from what ive been told only way the frs is going to be marked up is by dealer adding wheels or some other junk to jack up the price

Hey all ... Just signed up, and planning on scoring a Whiteout FR-S this summer. Been working on imports since back in the old EG hatch days and looking forward to seeing what the Toyobaru has to offer.
