Because you can fit band equipment in a S2000. Got to read OP's entire post. ![]() Quote:
Says the guy that drives a Yaris? As you can read, OP stated he wants something roomy, very reliable, and within his budget of 15k. A brand new Fit starts at ~$15k MSRP. You get a car that's mildly fun to drive, new under warranty, gets close to upwards of 33MPG, and plenty of space to haul things. There's no point in settling for an older sporty car that may have potential problems and end up costing more in the long run. The point many of us are trying to get across is sometimes you need to be practical in order to get what you want. Grab a Fit to DD the hell out of it. Save up some money for a couple of years, and get that FRS! Last edited by MokSpeed; 08-20-2015 at 04:00 PM. |

$16,400 Scion IA Brand new
For $1,400 more dollars of your budget you can get the Mazda 2 (which is badged as the Scion IA). This will be a great car that handles zoom zoom. Full warranty and 2 years free maintenance. Or a used Scion TC. Trad in for FRS down the line. My 2 cents.

New Scion IA
Motor Trend just reviewed The Scion IA and liked it.
Scion bought the rights to the Mazda 2. It looks funny in pics, but should be cool in person. |

Hell, I don't want to do a lot of things. Such is life and someone has to do it. Not gonna pay some flunky kid to do my oil change when I am capable of doing it myself.
Only my opinion though and shouldn't matter to anyone else. |

This isn't fast or powerful car but damn if it only weighs 2385 lbs and can be had with a manual transmission. I'm sure something nice can be done with this. |

Hey I think of it as contributing to the economy. Besides you still probably have 30+ years of changing oil ahead of you before you get tired of doing it as well. As little as 10 years ago if somebody had told me I would pay for an oil change I would have laughed in their face. Things change.

My car before this was an Acura RSX type-S. Great little car, lasted forever (Over 10 years and 250,000 miles when I sold it), never had any major problems, and got great gas mileage. It's a hatchback so you can fit an amazing amount of stuff in it with the back seats down. I put everything from bicycles, to TVs, to Christmas trees, to a small couch in it.
If you can find a low mileage one, it would fit well under your budget, and serve you well until you save enough to get an 86. Of course, it is front wheel drive... |

You new here? Of course I do (if warranted of course). Mind you it often puts me well within a punch zone so I have learned to duck after I do it.
What you see here is what you get in person I am afraid. No internet warrior, reality coward from me.
