Here are somethings that piss me off alot and some of you have already mentioned.

I saw a girl in a ferrari 360, obviously "automatic", driving around.
No appreciation for "racing/motorsports" and just enjoys the attention.

I also see a bunch of grannies driving 350z around town.

People driving SMG M3's because they dont' know how to drive Manual, and their excuse is "my dad got me this because its faster"....when we all know its because you have money and you don't know how to drive manual.

For real, its not that automatic pisses me off. Its the reality that people that have no respect or appreciation for what the car was designed for using it as their esteem promoter.

When you see someone drive an s2000 or a GT3, you get a different feeling. More than likely the person driving that car appreciates their car.

I appreciate your concern. I feel the same way.

But, you seem inconsiderate to some extent. I mean wouldn't you prefer to have cheaper after market support? I mean, to me that makes PERFECT economical sense.

But yes, I completely agree on this part

"People driving SMG M3's because they dont' know how to drive Manual, and their excuse is "my dad got me this because its faster"....when we all know its because you have money and you don't know how to drive manual.

So in essence I agree to disagree to agree once again :p

haha

Cheers and merry Christmas eve!

If cars like those were only bought by people who appreciated them then they'd die after the first gen because they wouldn't be able to generate enough sales.

Really, who gives a Fuck? It only means that they would be more used examples for me to buy cheaply later down the line.

I had an S2K and I'm glad Honda never made an AT version. RegisBou,your situation is perfectly understandable. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Some automatics are great! There is a difference between a 4 speed econobox automatic and a SST/DSG/SMG/DGK

Just gotta try em out.

But yea, manual is my top choice as well.

yes, the price is a difference as well as the performance...

oh yeah.. and the price to MAINTAIN the transmission...if you don't know how to service a DCT transmission yourself.

Well i know this is off topic but I am back to manual!!!

I can only move my middle finger 60% as of now, but my ring and pinky are 100%.

2/3 of my index had to be amputated on tuesday (the 12th) but other than emotional stuff I am doing well and moving on with life.

Eh if there are more women drivers you can throw the peace sign at them cruising on the road and maybe get their number :p

A bit true, yeah..
But that was kindling for a major flame-fest, and nobody took the bait. I was disappointed.

I've played that game before. It's not like you can just pass off a napkin doing 85..
Freeway speed games are a great way to flirt, until you realize that the only way to get their number is reading some small ass handwriting up against a window..

yeah..i get the feeling its gonna be made in auto (its a toyota..), and theres gonna be several problems:
1. people driving it just for looks
2. superposers
3. the kind of people who justify drifting FWD's or automatics.....thats the worst of the 3...(even though its a rwd)

If it gets made in manual only it wont sell and it gets killed.

So you will see posers, ricers, "mad tite jdm dorifto yo" and all kinds of people buying it, but whatever, I prefer that than to not have it or any other Toyota sports cars come back (if fact, it will revive this niche, watch and see).
