Yup! Just started using one built from your standard Harbor Freight kit. It really makes prep easier, as you can pretty have everything ready to go in advance instead of rushing to dump supplies and tires in the car the night before an event. Keeps interior of car a little cleaner too!

Nice! hers mine. However I made my own hitch because the slambert one is a bit pricey. Mine cost me around $260 after all was said and done. I'll post a picture once I get it patented lol.

Nice! I wish I had access to welding equipment to make that support frame. I used HBF wheel dollies as my base under the tires to provide a place to really cinch down the tires and lower the overall height of the tires. I still have a bit of rear viability with my set up.

I will definitely want to have access to a welder next time I do this kinda thing! LOL!!

Having a welder definitely help out. The square tubing was free scrap that I got from work. So it really didn't cost me anything to make. It did take forever though haha. Here's a semi-hidden photo of my hitch.

I bought this trailer not too long ago for $100 with the box and a spare wheel/tire. It had been sitting under a guys porch for about 2 years. I ended up taking most of it apart and refreshing it, probably put $75 into it. Just did around 2000 miles round trip to Lincoln for Solo Nationals. Trailer worked great but I aired up one of the tires too much and it wore pretty badly in the middle.

What paint did you use to paint the fenders and other metal bits black? I have more-or-less the same color scheme (except I painted the frame blue, and the floor black - so opposites there) but all I did at the time I put it together was use some Rustoleum black paint which scuffs VERY easily. I'm looking for something much more durable.

Yeah I used Rustoleum too and it's not great. I figured for the price I wouldn't put too much into it. One of those things where it looks good from about 20 ft. away.

If I ever have to take it apart again I'll do more research into more durable paint.

Ah, okay. Yours seemed better, but I just realized it's because all I had at the time was matte Rustoleum, which is more of a gray chalkboard-like color, than the semi-matte BLACK I was going for, lol.
