A simple base Carrera has nothing on a GT3 or a 911 Turbo. Not even close to being the same cars. That's like saying I won't own a GTR cause I've driven a Nissan and hated it... It was a versa but still...

I'm curious as to how many people hate on the GTR have actually driven one. I feel like most people who sit there and say there's no connection have never actually driven it and they're just restating what they heard/read in a review.

I've driven a few of the older ones: 2010 stock, 2009 with 630ish awhp. Loads of fun to drive. You don't need to do 150 to have fun with it. Just that short burst of throttle up to 60-70mph is enough to get a good laugh.

My Dad just got a 2015 GTR a couple weeks ago. He loves it. He's owned more cars than I can remember: Datsun 240s, MKIV Supras, R34 GTR, M3, RS4, multiple Lamborghini's, 911 Turbo etc etc etc.

I actually was lucky enough to rent one recently for 24hrs. Fantastic car, friggin insane speeds and superb handling. However, as most said it doesn't FEEL like you are going fast, which allows you to get into trouble quickly.

Great car, no argument there. If I had $70-90K to spend it would be on the list, but ultimately not the car I would buy.
